When you’re done you’ll have an account, a name the crowd sees, and a web address of your own — in about a minute.

Sign up

There are no passwords. You give an email address, we send a four-digit code, you type it back. Signing up and signing in are the same flow, so there is no separate “register” step to find later.

  1. Go to Sign in and enter your email address.
  2. Check your inbox for a four-digit code. It arrives in a few seconds.
  3. Type the code. It submits itself once you enter the fourth digit — there is no button to press.
If the code does not arrive, check your spam folder before asking for another. You can request a small number of codes in any fifteen-minute window, so it is worth looking first.

Setting up

The first time you sign in, you answer two short questions.

  1. Answer What should the crowd call you? This name goes on screen, and it goes into your web address. You can change either one later.
  2. Answer Do you also run a venue or a night? Say yes and you get a venue page as well, free. Say no and you skip it entirely.

If you only run a room and never play, the first screen has a link that says so. Take it, and we never ask you for a DJ name.

If it didn’t work

The code did not work. Codes are short-lived. If you left it a while, ask for a fresh one rather than retyping the old one.

You used the wrong email. Choose Use a different email on the code screen and start again. We create nothing until you confirm a code.

The link in the email opens a signed-out page. Open it in the same browser you requested it from, rather than a preview window inside another app.
