What Hype Display is
Hype Display puts your name on the screen behind you and gives the room something to do about it. It runs in a browser, so any screen with a web page on it will do.
The chain it shortens
A good set earns you attention for a couple of hours. Most of that attention leaves with the crowd. Hype Display exists to shorten one chain:
- You perform. The room is already looking at you.
- The screen tells them who you are. Your name or your logo, your visuals, a QR code.
- They scan. That lands them on your page, with your socials, your mixes and a way to tip you.
- You keep them. The follow outlasts the night.
Three surfaces
- The display — the fullscreen page the room sees. Branding, visuals, your QR code, and live alerts while you play.
- Your link page — where the QR code lands. Short, fast, built for someone standing up holding a drink.
- Your profile — the longer page, for someone deciding whether to book you.
A venue gets the same three. It also gets open decks nights that DJs claim a slot on, and a roster of the DJs it works with.
What you need on the night
A screen and a browser. Point it at your display, put it in fullscreen, and leave it. It keeps the screen awake on its own and keeps running if the wi-fi drops.
What this is not
Hype Display is not VJ software — it does not react to your audio or cut visuals to the beat. It is not a link-in-bio tool with a screen bolted on. The screen and the page are one system, and the page knows which screen sent someone to it. It is not streaming software either: nothing here broadcasts your set.Last updated 2026-08-01
