Changing or stopping a plan

Moving to a smaller plan never throws anything away. Features you no longer pay for stop appearing. Every setting behind them stays exactly where you left it, and comes back the moment you upgrade again.

Making the change

Manage both plans from Plans in your dashboard. Upgrades take effect straight away. Reductions and cancellations run to the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep what you bought until it expires.

On the DJ side

What stops:

  • Premium visuals fall back to the ones your new plan includes.
  • Your logo stops showing and your name shows instead.
  • Live alerts and rotating call-to-actions stop appearing on screen.

What keeps working:

  • Your screen, your name, your colours and your QR code.
  • Your link page and every link on it.
  • Your DJ profile, and any bookings or messages already sent to you.
A trial never removes the Hype Display watermark, whatever plan it gives you. Only a paid plan does. Why.

On the venue side

A venue plan that stops winds down gently, because a room can have printed material in the wild:

  • Screen link pages stop serving, and a scan sends people to your venue page instead.
  • Your nights drop out of search and the city pages.
  • Nights that are already booked keep running for about a week, so you never lose an event you have advertised.
  • Your venue page, your roster and every past night stay exactly as they are.
You will see a banner in your dashboard while your screens are offline. It tells you what someone scanning your QR code sees right now. It is not a nag.

Coming back

Resubscribing restores everything at once. Your screens, your branding, your call-to-actions and your nights return in the state you left them. There is nothing to set up again and nothing to import.

What this is not

This is not a grace period that ends with us throwing your work away. No clean-up job is waiting to run. Your content stays for as long as your account does, whatever you are paying.
