Your link page

When you’re done, anyone who scans your screen will land on a page that gets them to your socials in one tap.

What it is

Your link page is the page your QR code points at. It is deliberately short. The person opening it is standing up, holding a drink, in a dark room, and has about eight seconds of patience. Everything on it should survive that.

Your DJ handle and your venue handle are separate names, and each one owns its own web addresses. Handles and addresses.

Add your links

These steps set up your own DJ link page. A venue screen has its own separate link page.

  1. Open DJ profile and choose the Links tab.
  2. Add a link. Give it a short label — two or three words at most.
  3. Drag the links into order. The top one gets most of the taps by a wide margin.
  4. Group related links into sections if the list is getting long.

Socials and tips

Social icons render as a compact row of recognisable marks, not another list of text links. That is what you want at the top of the page. Tip buttons open the payment app with the amount already filled in.

Getting the order right

  • One clear first link. Whatever you most want from the night — usually Instagram — goes first and alone.
  • Then the proof. A mix or two, so someone who liked what they heard can hear more.
  • Then everything else. Bookings, other platforms, your mailing list.
  • Prune it. Eight links is a menu. Three is a decision.
Test it on your own phone, at night, with one hand. That is the actual usage, and it finds problems a desktop preview never will.

Venue screens have their own

Every venue screen gets its own link page and its own QR code. A scan in one room can lead somewhere different from a scan in another. During an open decks night, that page also shows who is playing now and who is up next.

If it didn’t work

Some things are missing on the live page. Social icons and tip buttons start at Creator. We keep your settings either way — they reappear when you upgrade.

The page will not load. Check you have claimed a handle. Without one there is no address for the page to live at.

What this is not

Your link page is not your DJ profile. The link page is the quick one, for the room. Your profile is the long one, for a promoter deciding whether to book you. They serve different people, and you edit them in different places.
