Rosters

A roster is the list of DJs a venue works with. One list, across every night, rather than a fresh group chat each time.

What a venue uses it for

• Telling every DJ on the list about a night in one action, instead of messaging each one.
• Reserving the better slots for the DJs who have earned them.
• Keeping private notes on who plays what, so the venue is not relying on memory later.
• Showing its regulars on the venue page, if the venue wants to.

It is free

Venue Free includes a roster capped at 15 DJs, which is enough for most rooms. Paid venue plans lift the cap entirely.

Two ways in

The two directions have different names, and they never mean the same thing:

• An invite goes venue to DJ — by email, by handle, or by one shared link that any DJ can use.
• A request goes DJ to venue — the DJ asks, and the venue approves or declines.

What stays private

Grades, notes and how often a DJ has played are the venue’s own record. No DJ ever sees them, and none of it appears on a public page. A DJ sees which venues they are on, and nothing else.

The privacy runs both ways. When a venue invites someone, the venue cannot tell whether that person already has an account. Both cases look identical from the venue’s side.
